    Pokémon World Championships Event Info Registration TCG Player Info VGC Player Info Pokkén Tournament Player Info Pokkén Tournament DX LCQ Pokémon Distribution DC Open Prizes 2019 Worlds Event Registration Registration for the World Championships will take place entirely online. A badge is required to enter the event space at all times. Badges must be visibly worn while within the event space. Badges can only be purchased online using a credit or debit card, and can only be picked up on site at the event. Cash or check payments for badges will not be accepted. Competitors and spectators can check in and pick up their badges at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, in Room 146 on the street level near the North Lobby on Thursday, and outside Hall D on the second level on Friday through Sunday at the following times: Thursday, August 15, 5–8 p.m. Friday, August 16, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Main event competitors playing on Friday must check in and receive their badge on Thursday. Players who received a Day Two invitation and begin play on Saturday may check in anytime Thursday or Friday by 3 p.m. EDT. Proof of age may be requested during check-in. Failure to provide proof of age may result in the player being denied participation in the tournament, at the organizer's discretion. Registration for Pokkén Tournament DX LCQ Competitors Players who would like to battle in the Pokkén Tournament DX Last Chance Qualifier will also need to register online prior to the start of the competition. The entry fee for the Pokkén Tournament DX LCQ is $30 for all players. Registration for the LCQ includes a spectator badge to the Pokémon World Championships for the entrant. Players under age 18 will receive one additional spectator badge and lanyard at no charge for a parent or guardian. Additionally, all registrants will receive six Pokémon TCG booster packs. Entry fees are nonrefundable. Register now to compete in the Pokkén Tournament DX LCQ! Side Events All side events will take place inside the event space, so attendees must wear an official event badge at all times to participate. This includes the DC Open and the Pokkén Tournament DX Last Chance Qualifier. Bag and Personal Items Policy To ensure the safety of all attendees, the following items will not be permitted into the event: Items which could be considered "weapons" and would not pass airline security (including all firearms, sharp objects, mock weapons, and sprays) Electronic smoking devices Bags larger than 9" x 14" x 22" (23 cm x 36 cm x 56 cm). If an airline would not classify it as a carry-on, it is too big. Please check with your hotel about bag storage options. Alcoholic beverages or any illegal substance Full facial coverings, such as masks Apparel, objects, or signs with explicit wording or pictures Animals (other than service animals) All bags are subject to search upon entry to the event, and security retains the right to refuse entry. Switch Versus 3 is our return to events centered around the competitive scene for the Switch. At this event our focus will be Splatoon 2, ARMS, and Pokkén Tournament DX, Mario Tennis Aces and Puyo Puyo Tetris. Each competitor is strongly urged to bring the following( this is what consists of a full setup): A Nintendo Switch console A copy of each game the participant will play An official Nintendo Switch docking station A Nintendo Switch (USB Type-C) AC adapter A compatible controller of choice A Nintendo Switch Lan adapter if you have it, it is not necessary though. You will get $5 back at the end of the event when we don't need your setup anymore. (You must sign up for this through registration) Please label your equipment.     EVO 2019 - Pokkén Tournament

    Pokkén Arena is once again bringing you a Pokkén Tournament bracket at EVO 2019! As a side-tournament, Pokkén will be taking place at EVO's BYOC area, you will need an EVO event pass to compete, NO EXCEPTIONS. Make sure you register there first, then come back over to our area to register for Pokkén. Entry will be $10, on-site, CASH ONLY. Stream details are TBD. DATE AND TIME Saturday, August 3rd. Bracket starts at 10am PDT. Please bring setups! A full set up is a dock, a switch, and Ethernet adapters with a crossover cable. This is all supported by the community so we'll need all the help we can get. We will be providing zip ties for those that wish to have your setups more secure. Thanks and we'll see you soon!

Skills points are to be turned OFF, no exceptions. Winner cannot change character for their next game in a set, only their support and cheer skill. If a player is caught using points, their opponent will be offered to have them dq'd into losers or eliminated if they are already in losers. If a player disconnects during a game the other player can either run that game back or win the game as it is technically a win for them.

To participate in the official CEO Community events, you must have a player or spectator badge which can be purchased at the following link.     The North America International Championships will include a Pokkén Tournament DX qualifier for the Pokkén Tournament World Championships. Competitors born in 2003 or earlier will compete in the Masters Division, and those born in 2004 or later will compete in the Senior Division. The Top 4 Masters Division players and Top 2 Senior Division players will qualify for the Pokkén Tournament World Championships in Washington, D.C. Masters Division competitors will be required to provide a HORI Nintendo Switch Pokkén Tournament DX Pro Pad Wired Controller to play.
