The Pokémon Company's Japanese YouTube channel posted two new videos yesterday for Pokkén DX. One of the two videos showcases new features we will see in the Switch port. Check the videos out for some more DX gameplay as well as the first look at the Group Mode and Replays, among other new features.

The first of the two videos was in last night's Community Roundup. The video is just a 3-minute advertisement for the game, with nothing we didn't already know about. It still shows off DX gameplay, though, so it's worth checking out!

The second video showcases new features that were not present in the Wii U version of Pokkén. While the video is in Japanese, we can see new menus as well as a sample of the challenges/missions that will be available to complete in Pokkén DX.

Our fantastic community member Pentao translated the new features that were shown, allowing us to get a better idea of what was shown in the video. The features covered range from Replays, to 100-player Group Modes, to Daily Challenges, and so on.

Huge thanks to Pentao for translating the new features shown in the video! Be sure to thank him on Twitter!

Good evening guys! The Pokkén Arena staff has been discussing this idea for quite awhile now, and I'm happy to finally be posting the first Community Roundup!

We can't make a new post for every single thing that happens in the community, so these Roundups are intended to be daily posts that highlight everything the community is doing - from art, to Twitch streams, to tournaments, to whatever!

If you've made a contribution to the community, no matter how small, let us know so we can share it in the next Roundup! There's no way for us to know everyone that Ranked Up on a given day, for example, so make sure that we know what you accomplished!

Remember that you can submit content to Pokkén Arena here.

This morning, Hazardous Gaming announced that Devin "Ouroboro" Setiady would be representing the team at future events.

Ouroboro is a top Gardevoir player from Georgia. He placed 9th at EVO 2016 and creates YouTube content such as guides and competitive gameplay. This makes Ouroboro the second Pokkén player to join Hazardous Gaming, following the signing of Twixxie last month. Hopefully this announcement is the first of many as teams prepare for the release of Pokkén Tournament DX!
